We asked more than 1,000 U.S. consumers about their behaviors, preferences, and expectations during COVID-19 and as we reopen our economy. What we found is both surprising and encouraging, particularly for brick-and-mortar businesses trying to navigate the ‘new normal’ coming out of this pandemic.
Ninety-one percent of consumers say they will return to restaurants, shops, gyms, banks, theaters, and spas, among other businesses. What’s more, our survey suggests that those brands that tap into local marketing will emerge the strongest.
As demand shifts back to brick-and-mortar businesses and mobile becomes the preferred platform for search, make sure your brand is front and center on a local level.
